Cosmograph Daytona Steel and Gold 16523
In 1988, the new Rolex Daytona 16520 was presented at the Baselword, the first Rolex automatic chronograph.
It was powered by a derivate of the Zenith caliber 400 El Primero, the caliber 4030.
For the first time, the new Daytona was also produced in steel and gold.
The first models had a bezel engraved at 200 and had a floating or 4-line dial.
